IEW Systems is an independently owned company, started by Irene Waller in 1986.

Irene started her programming career in 1975. In 1986, Irene became a computer consultant/contractor and started IEW Systems working for such companies as:

• Glendale Federal Bank
• MCA
• American Savings
• Columbia Pictures
• First Interstate Bank

In 1990 Irene completed her Business of Science Degree in Business Management and was hired by Blue Cross of California as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst for Blue Cross' new Executive Information System (EIS). This was the beginning of Decision Support and Data Warehousing.

After successful team implementation of Blue Cross' EIS (Executive Information System), Irene was hired by The Zenith Insurance Company. Responsible for setting up a new area to design and develop an Oracle Data Warehouse, various Decision Support applications and Ad Hoc Query applications to support the companies Workers Compensation insurance business. 

In 1999, Irene left The Zenith Insurance Company to re-establish IEW Systems as a Website design and implementation company.

Since 1999 IEW Systems has developed websites for small and medium size businesses. Projects have included designing new websites for companies, re-designing websites, providing website hosting services, website maintenance, website optimization and various other services.

Irene has currently received her Associate Certificate in Project Management. She is a member of the Project Management Institute and is working toward her Project Management Certification.
